From 12 to 20 May 2012, ’America’s Cup arrives in Venice. A unique event that will bring the protagonists of the oldest trophy in the waters of Venice’s  Lagoon.

Nine days of great entertainment, 12 to 20 May will see the fast catamarans AC45clash of two race courses just a stone’s audience. Eleven teams racing from ninenations and composed by the best sailors in the world including  Luna Rossa, the only Italian boat in the race, will compete in the fleet race, match race (one-on-oneduels) and the spectacular speed Trial (speed tests on the basis of 500 meters) on twostretches of water in the Basin of San Marco, in front of Palazzo Ducale, and the open sea, in front of another symbol of Venice, the Lido, the island of sport and great shows.
